GF-120 Fruit Fly Bait provides high performance, highly attractive bait for cherry fruit fly, blueberry maggot and apple maggot.

Performs as a true bait, attracting only targeted insects. The goal is to strategically place large droplets where flies will find them in their normal search for food.

Uniform coverage

Uniform coverage is not as critical as with conventional sprays.

  • Application Method
    • Not registered for aerial application.
    • Droplets act like mini bait stations.
    • Target large droplet size to ensure better attractiveness and longevity results.
    • The targeted droplet size is a diameter of 5 mm using D1 or D2 nozzles with the swirl plates removed, and an operating pressure of 45 to 60 psi.
    • If the droplets are too small, there will not be enough product to control the fly, and if the droplets are too large, the droplet will spread out and not be effective for control.

  • Rates
    Dependent on pest. Use as indicated on product label.
    1 to 1.5 L/ha depending on crop.
  • Application Timing
    Dependent on pest type. Use as indicated on product label.

    Rainfast: Do not apply during periods when heavy rain is expected. Re-apply immediately after a rain.
  • Mixing Instructions
    1) GF-120 is a bait concentrate that must be diluted with water at a ratio of 1 to 4 parts water.
    2) Add water (1/2 of the volume to be mixed) to the spray tank or premixing tank and begin agitation. Then, add the full amount of GF-120 followed by the remainder of the required water. Allow agitation system to operate for at least 5 minutes before beginning application.
    3) Triple-rinse the GF-120 container, adding the rinsate to the spray solution.
    4) Constant agitation of the spray solution is recommended to ensure uniformity of spray mixture.
  • Grazing

    There is no pre-harvest interval. GF-120 can be applied up to and including the day of harvest.

  • Tank Mixes

    No registered tank mixes.
