Loralee’s life and passion have always been agriculture. Growing up on her family farm and her love of people inspired her to pursue a career in the industry.
As a member of the Commercial leadership, commcercial leadership, and team and people leader teams, Loralee is responsible for overseeing all marketing communications for the organization and championing the marketing communications department. She is integral in ensuring marketing communications strategies align with business goals and works closely with an external agency of record to ensure successful fulfillment and execution of all marketing communications campaigns and tactics.
Loralee began her career with Dow AgroSciences as a sales representative in 1997, just days after graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture. In 2006 she relocated to Calgary and moved into Six Sigma project management. From 2012 to 2017 Loralee was the communications leader for the Canadian business.
“We care deeply about the future of Canadian agriculture, farmers and food. It is critical that we are connected to both producers and consumers, so that we can be a reliable resource, provide an outstanding customer experience and actively advocate for the industry.
Loralee represents Corteva Agriscience on the board of the Alberta Science and Technology Foundation (AsTech). She is very actively involved in her boys’ sports and volunteering, and when she finds time for herself, she enjoys playing any sport that involves hitting something (golf, hockey, baseball), gardening, music, and of course food and wine!
