Fall harvest snack hacks

No one knows more about what it’s like to prep and eat meals during harvest time than your fellow Corteva Agriscience representatives. That’s why we’re sharing our go-to snack recipes that will help you stay energized throughout the busy fall harvest season.

Corn and Bean Dip

  • 1 can of rinsed black beans
  • 2 cans of peaches and cream corn
  • 2 cups feta cheese
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Mix together in large bowl.  Serve with tortilla chips.

Baked Spinach Dip

  • 150g frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 brick of cream cheese (8oz)
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Mix together.  Put into oven safe dish and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes or until it bubbles. Dip with your favourite, chips, crackers or crusty bread. 

Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 1 ½ cups of shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine all ingredients and spoon into a shallow baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through. Serve with crackers, chips, pretzels or vegetables.   Can also be made in a crockpot to be kept warm while serving.
